MS Office for Beginners: Sept. 16 and 18, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. This 8-hour hands-on course introduces the basic features of MS Office to the new user. You will learn about MS Office; how to perform common tasks; and the basics of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Working knowledge of Windows is required. $75.00 registration fee

Windows for Beginners: Sept. 9 and 11, 5:00-9:00 p.m. This 8-hour hands-on course introduces the basic features of Windows to the new user. You will learn about the Windows Desktop; how to work with toolbars, menus, and dialog boxes; how to customize your settings; and how to manage files and folders. Working knowledge of the PC is required. $75.00 registration fee.

PCs for Beginners: Sept. 2 and 4, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. This 8-hours hands-on course introduces the features of the PC to the new user. You will learn how to operate the PC, work with the keyboard and mouse, understand disk drives, print your work, and maintain your computer. You will also learn about the different types of software available for your PC. $75.00 fee

Internet for Beginners: Sept. 15 and 17, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. This 8-hours hands-on course introduces the basic features of the Internet to the new user. You will learn Internet fundamentals, navigation and searching the Web, setting up your favorite web sites, and customizing your browser. In addition, you will explore the various types of sites available on the Web. Working knowledge of Windows is required. $75.00 fee

E-Mail for Beginners: Sept. 22 and 24, 1:00-5:00 p.m. This 8-hour hands-on course introduces the basic features of e-mail to the new user. You will learn how to set up an e-mail account; work with the address book; send, receive, reply to, forward, and print e-mail; attach and open attached files; and chat with others on line. Working knowledge of the Internet is required. $75.00 registration fee

Access I: Oct. 13 and 15, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
This 8-hour hands-on workshop presents the basic concepts of Access 2000. You will learn how to create and modify tables, create queries, use filters, create and modify forms, create and modify reports, and enhance reports. Working knowledge of Windows is required. $75.00 registration fee.

Excel I: Oct. 7 and 9, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
This 8-hour hands-on workshop presents the basic concepts of Excel 2000. You will create, modify, print, and format worksheets; work with basic formulas and functions; use multiple worksheets; enhance worksheets; use styles and AutoFormats; and work with charts. Working knowledge of Windows is required. $75.00 registration fee.

Excel II: Oct . 27 and 29, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
This 8-hour hands-on workshop presents the intermediate concepts of Excel 2000. You will use names, work with advanced functions formatting features, locate and update data, use special format and print options, protect worksheet data, manipulate the screen display, share worksheet data, and use templates and macros. Excel I or equivalent knowledge is required. $75.00 registration fee.

FrontPage I: Oct. 20 and 22, 1:00-5:00 p.m.
This 8-hour hands-on workshop presents the basic concepts of FrontPage. You will learn how to create, modify, and format Webs; manage Webs with tasks; work with text; create hyperlinks in Webs; insert and manipulate images in Webs; design tables in Webs; and publish and maintain Webs. Working knowledge of Windows is required. $75.00 fee

Outlook I: Sept. 30 and Oct. 2, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
This 8-hour hands-on workshop presents the basic concepts of Outlook 2000. You will learn how to work with the Address Book, create Contacts, use E-mail, manage Calendar items, configure Tasks, use the Journal and Notes, print Outlook data, and use Newsreader. Working knowledge of Windows is required. $75.00 fee

PowerPoint I: Oct. 14 and 16, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
This 8-hour hands-on course presents the basic concepts of PowerPoint 2000. You will learn how to create, modify, build, and run PowerPoint slide shows, as well as use ClipArt, WordArt, and graphic objects. Working knowledge of Windows is required. $75.00 fee

Word I: Sept. 29 and Oct. 1, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
This 8-hour hands-on course presents the basic features of Word 2000. You will learn how to create, edit, and save documents; manipulate and format text and paragraphs; find and replace text; and use proofing tools. Working knowledge of Windows is required. $75.00 fee

Word II: Oct. 21 and 23, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
This 8-hour hands-on course presents the intermediate features of Word 2000. You will learn how to use templates; create letters, envelopes, and labels; use styles; use outlines; use headers and footers; create and use tables; format tables; use columns; and use graphic elements in documents. Word I or equivalent knowledge is required. $75.00 fee.

Publisher I: Oct. 6 and 8, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
This 8-hour hands-on course presents the basic features of Publisher 2000. You will learn how to create a letterhead, flyer, and newsletter. You will also learn how to work with shapes, set up a table, and create a Web site. Working knowledge of windows is required. $75.00 fee

Windows I: Sept. 23 and 25, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
This 8-hours hands-on course presents the basic features of Windows. You will learn about the desktop, online Help, My Computer and Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, Windows 2000 accessories, Web integration features, and the Active Desktop. You will also learn fundamental concepts for creating and working with files, folders, and shortcuts. $75.00 fee
